I’d like to share a with whoever gets to read this review my recent experience that happened to me, I have had nothing but great positive experiences since having my storage with first Yankee storage and now store local here at the Beaumont facility. Melanie, Kathleen and Edward are some of the most amazing helpful people I’ve ever met doing business anywhere. I recently was at the storage going to drop off a couple boxes when I was experiencing a medical emergency, I was having a mini stroke the day of the time change and I didn’t realize this so when I realized I was having a stroke I quickly went and tried to exit and realized the gate wouldn’t open because it was after closing so I was somewhat trapped inside but thank God Melanie heard me honking and came out and offered to call 911 for me but since I live a stone throw away I said thank you and left driving myself quickly home and had my significant other call 911 as I just wanted to get home and deal with the issue there. The fact that Melanie was there on-site and was so quick to open the gate but offer to get emergency personal to assist me all I can say is thank you and God bless you for just being there to offer me whatever help I needed, that will never ever go overlooked. You were my guardian angel that nights no amount of thanks could ever be given. I feel so blessed to know all of the staff are always and helpfuls snd attentive and always go the extra mile . Nice facility, purpose built, good access to sites, well laid out, security looks good, rates for covered sites are reasonable, individual enclosed units seem high. Best part of all is Shelly the on-site manager. She’s a keeper!

Great storage with all the needed amenities for the best price within 100 miles. I only gave it 4 stars because the entire facility has speakers wired through the site that play music and there is no option to have them change the music or turn them off. So if you have to work on anything you have stored here you are at the mercy of what ever they are playing on the radio. It’s very disorienting if you are trying to focus on what you are doing.

PROS: This location is clean and seems safe. There is seem to have lots of safe guard in place. They open early on weekends. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. CONS: I dont mind paying the higher price for the safety and security, but I feel like they nickle and dime you. In other words, they have an admin fee. They charge for insurance or want my home owners insurance I am not super comfortable with that for a storage unIt. Its another $29.00 a month for theirs. The price for the lock was reasonable and the price for the mattress cover was also reasonable. That was about it for reasonable costs. By the time I walked out I paid an extra 60.00 just for month #1. Would have been more if i didnt agree to bring back my home owners documents. We will see how it goes. And I can add an edit later. I am sure it will be fine, just know there are ZERO discounts, no VA (active military, but want CO info etc for validation) they do not make it easy for ANY thing. I would assume it is to deture the request. Would be higher rating of at least a 4 if the admin cost were lower or not at all. Seems a little much for me.
