I first rented a climate control unit 4 years ago and was thrilled with the ease of the process thanks to the wonderful ladies Debbie and Cynthia who work at the Van Alstyne location. They have been just a delight to work with, whether it be in person or on the phone with what I may have thought were silly questions. They always come through for me and thanks to their concern for “my” needs and asking helpful questions, they have me taken care of and I am so grateful to the both of them. So when it came time to need another unit, I was concerned that they were probably booked up or full and that I would have to search elsewhere for another climate controlled unit. But to my delight a unit had become available right next to my current unit and I was offered that to “make it easier on me”. Once again they took care of everything making the process a breeze. I don’t feel like a customer or a number like your treated as with so many other businesses these days. These ladies become your “friends” and they’ve made me feel so welcome. Hats off to the top notch ladies at Five Star Storage in Van Alstyne!!!

Would recommend Hometown Storage, and have, to anyone looking for either climate controlled or other type storage facility. UPDATE: 3 Years ago…after Five Star bought Hometown Store, prices got ridiculous, so we moved to Move-it Self Storage in Celina.
